Amuse has laid claim to the first ever R35 GT-R to break the 600 horsepower mark. Simple ECU tuning, increased boost levels along with their high-flow exhaust have done the trick.
RPM Limit: 7300rpm (max power at 6500rpm)
Boost Pressure: 1.25bar
Horsepower: 611.1 ps ( 602.73 hp )
Torque: 79.8 kgm = ( 576.95 ft-lbs )

The Japanese are no slouchers when it comes to getting into the heart of the GT-R. At least 3 major tuning houses have already unveild their R35 GT-R tuned ROM chips and ECUs. Check out each of the threads below for the latest.
Endless-R ECU
Amuse HiTech ROM
Mines VX ROM
These tuned ROMs are sure to start the framework for major horsepower gains in the future. Hopefully they share their knowledge with the US owners so we can enjoy the benefits as well.

HKS Technical Factory have released the first standalone 180km/h speed limit defeat for the R35 GT-R. Other tuners like Mine’s and Power House Amuse have had products to remove the speed limiter based around ECU modifications but this is the first standalone product to do it to my knowledge. The VAC connects to your ECU harness and offers and on/off switch for some reason.
Expected to be priced at 120,000 JPY ($1,200USD) it is not cheap but it seems many products for the GT-R are in the same boat right now. This product will only be sold in limited quantities to those with reservations.
Garage Saurus has already received their VAC and are playing around with it on their own GT-R. Expect an update once their done with testing.
